Also known as a professional dental cleaning, it cleans the tooth surfaces and removes the tartar or hardened plaque that everyday brushing does not remove effectively.

Yes. Mention your sensitivity before starting: the clinician can use gentler techniques, apply desensitizing products, suggest at-home treatment, identify the cause and follow up.
